Thomas Michelson is a Due Diligence Manager at Allonhill with over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining Allonhill, Michelson worked as a Vice President of Retail Underwriting and Operations at JP Morgan Chase, where he oversaw the daily underwriting/ operations of a team of 90 Underwriters, Processor/Closers and 2,000 monthly loan closings. Prior to JP Morgan, Michelson worked as a Retail Underwriting Operations Site Manager at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, PNC Mortgage overseeing Loss Mitigation and Default Operations, and Freddie Mac managing National Loss Mitigation and Servicing.. During his time at Wells Fargo, Michelson reduced the site’s material finding rate 28% between 2005 and 2007 and reduced underwriting turn-times from 96 to 24 hours in over 95% of cases.
Michelson holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Economics from Central Michigan University.
