David Brown is Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative and Legal Officer at Allonhill. He manages corporate governance as well as loan regulatory compliance matters on behalf of clients. Brown brings twelve years of hands-on senior management experience with a high growth company, where he oversaw corporate governance, legal and compliance.
Before joining Allonhill, Brown co-founded WildBlue Communications, a Denver-based broadband internet company. He served as senior vice president and general counsel at WildBlue, leading successful efforts to raise more than $450 million in equity and $400 million in debt. He directed the company’s day-to-day operations, oversaw its regulatory and government affairs and managed the company’s patent and trademark portfolio. Brown worked for five years as an attorney for Denver law firm Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, P.C., advising clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, public and private debt and equity transactions, and structured asset-backed loan transactions.
Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boston University and a law degree from Fordham University Law School.
